BEIS Knowledge & Information Management team elected “Team of the Year”

We’re delighted to announce that the Knowledge & Information Management team at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has received the “Team of the Year” award, at this year’s IRMS Conference for their highly successful Microsoft Teams governance programme. Working closely with Intelogy, this programme has seen the Department introduce a process that controls the creation of new Teams with contextual automated application of retention labels.

“We are thrilled to have won the IRMS Team of the Year 2022. Thank you to our delivery partner Intelogy who supported us in delivering an innovative solution that will help transform how BEIS managed its information. Intelogy supported our vision of having learning at the heart of our project team culture. We look forward to continuing our partnership this year”.

– Helen Paul, Information Governance Lead, BEIS

Team of the Year is a competitive award that is determined by the votes of IRMS (Information & Records Management Society) members. As such, receiving this award is a clear demonstration of the scale and success of the digital transformation that BEIS’ KIM team has achieved.

Intelogy is proud to have supported BEIS throughout this transition, from the creation of a Microsoft 365 Information Governance Blueprint, to architecting, building and testing the new solution. We’re delighted that the partnership has resulted in such a successful and well-received solution that has helped to revolutionise Information Governance and importantly Records Management across the Department.

“BEIS’ KIM team have accomplished so much over the past year, having defined a new Microsoft 365 governance strategy and revolutionised the way that records are managed across the Department. I’m absolutely delighted to see all of the KIM team’s hard work rewarded – it’s fully deserved! And, of course, look forward to providing them with any support they need in the future “
