Intelogy wins Digital Transformation Project of the Year Award
Press Release – London – 03/03/2022
The Digital Revolution Awards were created in 2020, to recognise and celebrate the very best individuals and businesses in cloud technology. As digital innovation becomes even more important to the world we live and work in, the awards showcase some of the incredible work that is helping to power the future, as well as making the industry a better and fairer community.
Winners from all 11 categories were announced on February 25, 2022 at an awards ceremony in London that was also screened online, and at in-person events in the US and Australia, by host and entrepreneur Maxine Nwaneri.
The Digital Transformation Project of the Year award recognises the delivery of a highly effective digital transformation for a customer through cloud technology.
About the project
Medics at London’s Air Ambulance (LAA) only deal in life and death situations. Their helicopters are used when patients need emergency treatment and are unlikely to survive the journey to a hospital by road. Every second counts when an emergency call comes in and the LAA’s advanced trauma team must be ready to go. Everything the medics need to perform life-saving medical interventions must be safely stored pre-packed in bags so it can be picked up and carried to a helicopter.
Until recently, LAA used pen and paper to complete checklists of the equipment to be placed into each bag, and whiteboards to assign those bags to vehicles. The charity needed a digital solution that ensured multiple checklists could be created and shared via mobile devices, giving all staff a single overview of their situational readiness, wherever they were, at any time.
Our team proposed a Power Platform solution to make this manual process more efficient and agile. The suite of Power Apps, built by a team including two participants of our graduate scheme, allows medics to complete digital checklists, conduct daily briefings and track equipment. Find out more >
“It’s a real pleasure to be able to shine a spotlight on some of the incredible work that is being done within the many cloud ecosystems around the world,” said Kashif Naqshbandi, Chief Marketing Officer of awards organizers Tenth Revolution Group. “While it’s become the highlight of my year to sit down with a panel of judges and narrow it down from a bunch of nominees into a list of winners, the competition was so close this year that it was an incredibly tense process that provoked a lot of fierce debate.”
“However, the winners are people and organizations that we are proud to highlight for their transformative, innovative work that has empowered the world through cloud technology, and I’m delighted to be able to celebrate their success through the Digital Revolution Awards.”
“As a professional services company, we get to work with truly inspirational clients like London’s Air ambulance, said Simon Chalfont, Technical Director at Intelogy. “ This is all part of a bigger transformation journey for this charity, and while the helipad efficiencies project was only a first step, we as an organisation were thrilled to be a part of that.”
The Digital Revolution Awards will return in 2023, with nominations set to open once again in the coming months.
